What’s New in Muzie
A few new features and improvements are now live:
Support Chat Inside Lessons
There is a new support chat system - pretty much the same experience for you. But much better for us!
New Signup Experience
We redesigned the teacher signup process. New teachers now choose Lite or Pro upfront, create their account, and head directly into their classroom.
Music Microphone Profile
There is now a dedicated microphone setting for music and instruments.
Go to Device Settings → Advanced and switch your microphone to the Music / Instrument profile to help preserve the natural sound of your instrument instead of aggressively processing it like speech.
Microphone Boost
Quiet microphone? You can now increase your microphone level using the new Boost slider in the lobby or Device Settings.
Your setting is saved with your device so you do not have to adjust it every lesson.
Remote Volume Mixer
There is now a Mixer button beside the metronome.
You can independently adjust the volume of each participant during the lesson. These adjustments only change what you hear and do not affect the audio being sent to anyone else.
Clip Downloads Now Save the Recording
Downloading a clip now saves the actual audio or video recording instead of downloading a data file.
Faster Lesson Links
If you enter a classroom with no students assigned, Muzie will now automatically open the invite window so you can grab or send the lesson link immediately.
Starter Classroom for New Teachers
Every new teacher now starts with a classroom already created.
Instead of landing on a pricing page or setup guide, you can sign up and immediately start exploring your classroom.
Better Lite Account Guide
Lite teachers now have access to the Guide directly from the sidebar, and the walkthrough has been updated to match the features available on the Lite plan.
