Old Muzie to be used only if you haven’t migrated yet. This will eventually re-direct automatically to new Muzie. |
The migration moves your content across automatically, when you opt in to migrating. If you do not migrate before September 30th 2026, your account will be migrated automatically.
Please note: Recordings from lessons that happened before the move to new Muzie will not be migrated.
Teachers: How to migrate your account
-
Go to app.muzie.live.
-
Under the sign-in box, click migrate.
-
Enter the email and password you use for old Muzie.
-
Choose what to bring across.
-
Set a new password if asked: at least 8 characters, with a capital letter, a number and a symbol.
-
Click migrate.
"Email and password don't match"
Migration uses your old Muzie sign-in details. To confirm them:
-
Go to muzie.studio and log out.
-
Sign back in, typing the email and password rather than using auto-fill.
-
Use that email and password to migrate.
If you cannot sign in, use reset password on muzie.studio, then migrate with the new password.
Students
Students do not need to migrate. They just need to go to app.muzie.live, reset their password and login.
The first sign-in asks for a verification code sent by email. This happens once; after that it is email and password only. New Muzie does not use phone numbers to sign in.

"Invalid credentials" means the email or password is wrong for app.muzie.live — or the account has never been migrated: migrate first at app.muzie.live/migrate.
If the password reset email never arrives, the account most likely has not been migrated yet — there is nothing at app.muzie.live to reset. Migrate first.
If you want to keep your students, files, and history, migrate your old account rather than creating a new one — a new account starts empty, and two accounts cannot be merged later. Starting fresh with a new account is fine if that is what you want.
A student with two accounts: content cannot be moved between them — log into the old account (reset its password if needed).
