Allow Camera & Microphone — Chrome on a Mac

Chrome and the Mac each control camera and microphone access separately. Both must allow it.

1. Allow in Chrome

1. Open Muzie in Chrome.

2. Click the icon at the left end of the address bar, next to app.muzie.live.

3. Set Camera and Microphone to on. If Reset permission is shown, click it.

4. Reload the page (⌘R).

5. If Chrome asks to allow the camera and microphone, click Allow.

If Camera and Microphone are not listed: click ⋮ (top right of Chrome) → Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Camera, and allow app.muzie.live. Repeat for Microphone.

2. Allow on the Mac

1. Open System Settings (Apple menu, top left of the screen).

2. Click Privacy & Security, then Camera.

3. Turn on Google Chrome.

4. Go back, click Microphone, and turn on Google Chrome.

5. Quit Chrome fully (⌘Q) and reopen it — the change applies when Chrome restarts.

3. Check it worked in Muzie

On the screen where you choose your devices, click refresh. Select your camera and microphone. You should see yourself, and the level bar under the microphone moves when you talk.

On an iPad or iPhone, use iPad & iPhone (any browser) instead — these steps do not apply there.
