Check your speakers

Check the speaker button in the bottom left of the lesson is not muted.

Open Device Settings, select the speakers you are using, and click Save.

Check your computer's volume is up and not muted.
On the screen where you choose your devices before joining, the play button under the speakers plays a test bell. If you hear the bell, your speakers are working.
Check the other person's microphone
If your speakers pass the test and you still cannot hear them:

Their microphone may be muted. In tools → participants, click the
microphone icon next to their name to unmute them.

If they muted themselves, only they can unmute. Ask them to click their own
microphone button.

If they are quiet rather than silent, see Audio Is Too Quiet.

If Muzie is not receiving their microphone at all, they should follow My Microphone Isn't Working on their device.
